I think that you are aggresive against Reinhard for no reason.
It seems that there is some misunderstanding and I do not understand what is
Reinhard's problem but I am sure that he is a good programmer.

I do not see how Shredder's notation in FRC that is not the same in regular
chess can cause problems that cannot be solved by a converter and convince
Reinhard to leave FRC chess.

I think that it may be good to ask Stefan simply to support both X-FEN and
Shredder's FEN when the user can choose between them.
