King safety is a big item in my evaluation (if you lose the king, you lose the
game), so castling is by default "usually safer" than non-castling. Also, I
preprocess the "current position" and change my move order accordingly, so
castling is high up on the move list (don't know is that will help or not).
However, I like Will's idea. I'll remember it if it becomes an issue when I
actually start playing games with it.
