Hello, Im using Ubuntu 5.04 Linux. I would like to use the lastest version of Xboard 4.2.7. I have downloaded the lastest tarball. When I run ./configure I get the following error: xboard requires the X Window System header files and libraries! So I ran the line below to correct the above stated error message: ./configure --x-includes=/usr/X11R6/include \--x-libraries=/usr/X11R6/lib The line above ran fine (No Errors). So Then I ran the "make" statment and got a lot of common.h, frontend.h, and backend.h errors. The last few lines ending with: In file included from ../parser.l:126: backend.h:150: error: syntax error before "ParseOneMove" backend.h:150: warning: data definition has no type or storage class make: *** [parser.o] Error 1 Can anyone help me get this version of xboard up and running. Thanks in advance!
