Fernando has resucited!
The miracle was performed by his wife saying, as she was standing side by side
with the coffin, "now he is gone I can at last expend his fortune...".
No sooner has she uttered such blasfemous words and the corpse of fernando was
shaken, trembled, jumped out of the coffin and yelled "only walking on my dead
body!".
Once the miracle was performed, fernando took control of the procedings making
clear he was not going to pay a funeral that was not carried to the bitter end.
Once he said such wise words he retired to his study to retake his usual
undertakings.
