AGain and again we have trouble and valuable or at least -sometimes- funny and or original people going out because a moderator in good faith made or said something too harsh. Again and again posts are wiped because someone thought they were "off topic" as if in this place we were discussing how to save the Earth from an impending asteroid and so there is not time for off topic issues. Again and again lack of humour and humanity produce unncesary conflict. Again and again it is forgotten that a lot more important that the content of the discussion -surely chess computer in the main, nobody reject that- is for people to get pleasure to be here and so keep this alive. Again an again it is forgotten that the core is good will between us and so free hand to talk of anything. But then, again and again, when an election is in stake, the candidates chosen are the most hard liners, the more dogmatic, the more inclined to apply rules, the more hipnotized by the magic sentence "on topic". Then, of course, we get what we have sowed. fernando
