Hi Guenther,
Sorry,you are already in.....just kidding :-)
Thank you for your interest,I'll try to give you a good answer!
As far as I know if the crappy opening line is in the book,it's almost 100% in
the PGN too....
From my work over the opening book cooking,I've never had such a line which
appears by itself....I myself copied a large PGN files and I was punished with
such lines.....When I said that the Wizard is hand-made I meant that I clean it
and test it to make it better and not that I wrote it all by hand!
Don't believe that an opening book with more than 1 500 000 is written
manualy,it's a big fat lie.....
As for the iBase+ I can asure you it's a hand-made because the PGNs used for
creating it was written by my own hand since the year 1994!It's small and it's
clean and it will blow away the huge opening books like Arena Main Book and even
my own one....the Wizard!
About the flaws in the opening book options....they are not considering the
process of making the book....it's just that the priority system when using the
book is not functioning as it must be....this is a known problem and whether it
will be fixed or not,I don't know....that's why I don't use the priority
function in my book!
Thank you again for offering some logic to this thread....
Cheers,
Dr.Wael Deeb
