champion (1998) GM Darmen Sadvakasov Darmen Savakasov was born and occupied 1979
in Kazakhstan on the national good list rank 3. The junior world champion (1998
Calcutta) shows a constantly rising trend and from January 2004 in only 12
months of place 89 the FIDE Weltrangliste to place 63 improved. With a current
Elo number of 2610 it is at present on world rank number 117. At the age from 16
years it became IN and won 1998 the large master title on the occasion of the
junior world championship. Among its outstanding successes its two undecided
against Kasparov as well as a victory in a match rank 5-3 against Kortchnoi.
Sadvakasov is a regular participant with the Chess Classic in Mainz.
