I have been running it for 3 days now and no crashes. It is a bit awkward to end the program (pkill is needed to stop xboard and the wine processes running the Pro Deo engine) but it works and is free so who can complain about that small thing? Thanks for sharing your settings. I had developed personalities over the years for Rebel 10 and onward. Of course the new parameters (and changed behavior of old parameters) available in Pro Deo 1.1 mean that those personalities are of little use and thus I start again with new customizations to alter the play without sacrificing playing strength too much (perhaps 100 ELO or so at most?). Only lots of testing will tell if I'm successful as I'm too much of a patzer to be able to rate the difference in "feel" of a program playing at 2400 ELO vs 2500 ELO vs 2600 ELO. :-) Roy
