nobody tries new things.

and IF somebody tries new things, the people either don't believe it as true,
or they believe it will not work, or they condemn it or they say it will not
work etc. etc.

IMO people behave like in all other social groups. kind of mainstream is ok.
but if you behave any different, it is often not tolerated.
