The engine strength does increase very gradually throughout the adventure, but,
to the best of my memory, the only challenges in which it plays at top strength
are the ones in which you have a clear winning position. All of the others play
at SIGNIFICANTLY reduced strength. I can't remember how weak specifically,
though....

This is one of those cases where the engine will play poorly, but not TOO poorly
because you're now in the second half of the adventure and are expected to play
better chess. Still, I don't think the engine is playing much above Class C
here. But, honestly, I can't recall. I'll know as soon as I get the raw scenario
files from one of the other developers (if they still have them).
