I will be surprised if he understands more than a little of it(understanding
little of it may be enough to make changes to improve it).

Of course it is productive if he tells us what he understood from Fruit(it is
clearly more productive than releasing some beta version when almost nobody who
download it knows what he changed).

I assume that he does not release notes that explain what lines he changed in
the code and what he understood from it but in case that I am wrong I would like
to get a link to download the notes.
