Thanks Uri for the analyse by Fruit. There was only time for a quick Fritz-check last evening. A great upset after this game - and I'm sure you'll see it commented in various chess magazines. Following Fruit, Bareev should have given back both the exchange and a piece, with 18.-Kf7!?, to keep the balance [= Fruit]. I wonder if that ever crossed Evgeny's mind...but I will hear later from Emanuel and the analysies after the game. Very tricky with 40 moves in 1.5 hours and then only 15 minutes for the rest of the game. Also there was increment with 30 s per move. An exciting experience! Sune Larsson
