It is not wise to overclock a laptop in a laptop environment. The reason is
heat. Laptops have a cooling system that will not be able to cope with the
additional requirements of heat dissipation in an overclocked cpu. I found out
the hardway in my laptop. The excess heat warped my VGA mini card which made me
lose my VGA. It cost me over $340 to fix it. If you want a power PC you would
be much better served with a much cheaper system with dramatically more power
via a boxed system. Laptops are great for playing against humans and analyzing
games, but should not be used against other power computers.
