Arturo, it's fairly clear here that Uri is writing about two separate
tournaments in one sentence.
One where Zappa won the CCT title, and a tournament in the past (i.e., BEFORE
the Zappa win) where Zappa almost one, and that one with a random book.

I believe that Zappa's CCT win was the tourney where it used a book you
developed, right?

So, Arturo, where is Uri wrong here?
How is his statement misinformation?
Two tourneys, two different results.
