Okay since Fabien let the cat out of the bag I think I have the permission to give some details. Besides MultiVariation (works fine), Chess960-Capabilites (works also fine, although the opening evaluation needs some work) and some backward analysing capabilities (still not very good) there'll be some changes regarding playing strength. Besides tuning several parameters which were already present in 2.1 (but not accessible via UCI-Options) Fabien added one new pruning heuristic and one evaluation term. Although the pruning is nothing new it improves things clearly (at least on fast time controls). The eval term is also a standard term and probably an improvement but we have no certainty yet. Well that's it basically, nothing to get excited about. It's just another small step. regards Joachim
