In that case I owe apologies to Thomas and Karl-Heinz! I was mistaken into thinking GPL would guarantee public releases and therefore prevent private benefits. I will cease to use it in the future. Status of already-released versions does not change. This is a big disappointment for me, because my authorisation will be needed every time which is exactly what I wanted to avoid ...
