Also the version you are running is not the version I am running, as search extensions are a bit different, etc. A factor of 10x should be good for 2 plies, roughly. In endgames, it might be 3-4 plies. In some tactical positions, maybe only 1. Just depends... Also I am in the process of tuning the parallel search for this particular NUMA box. There are multiple tuning parameters inside Crafty. smpmin, smpgroup, etc. And I am just getting those refined, which helps the depth significantly at times... Been running tuning test sessions all morning on this very thing...
