Today is a bit colder and rainy, only 9 degrees. A good day to visit museums, to go to a geo-thermal bath and to relax a bit. The guest house is not so luxurious, but has other advantages rather than an expensive hotel. Social contact with other guests is much more relaxed. In the evening a nice talk with a norwegian family from Bergen over history, Vikings, the german occupation of Norway during 2.WW, Skandinavia, high taxes, the pricelevel in Iceland and that only 250.000 people build up this great society and infra structure. And no - i don't met Bobby Fischer yet... Good luck to all participants in Mainz as well. Cheers, Gerd
