According to Eric Hallsworth's list the Nigel Short, a software upgrade to the Milano, is about 30 Elo better. In some ways I saw the Milano as a back-step as it was sometimes even more susceptible to mating threats than the Academy. I seem to remember reading that the ability to select 1 to 8 to change the way it searched was removed when the Milano hit the stores. Across the board regards. Ray.
