Personally I would give Crafty betters odds to win than Diep. Nothing personal, but Crafty is simply a more polished program and will be running on bigger hardware. It will also have Peter Berger at the controls, and everyone knows how good he is. I don't think he is giving an excuse at all. He is stating that if a top favorite were to lose to a lower program, it's chances of winning go down drastically. If a lower rated program were to knock off a top seed, it's chances of finishing higher increase. That is logic... not excuses. Robert has a few World Titles to his credit.
