When you install additional engines using the interface, you have to do a small amount of editing of the .eng file to get rid of the drive letter, but once you do that it seems to work as a relative path perfectly. Of course, at this time you don't get the ICC/FICS connectivity with the Shredder interface, so if online is what you want then Winboard is a better answer. Pete
