Fellow CCC'ers, Due to the efforts of several good-spirited members, Dr. Djordje Vidanovic and I have agreed to patch things up, and to put this matter behind us. I thank all those who helped, and especially want to thank those who refrained from posting about the issue (I know, I know, it's hard, and some who posted also helped out behind the scenes). As you can imagine, it was not a pleasant experience. As we go through life, we learn more about our fellow man, some good, some bad. I learned that Djordje was big enough to engage in a dialogue with me, and to work things out in a positive way. I respect that a lot. I learned that words mean things, can cause pain, and should be more considered. I'm always learning, it seems. Maybe if I wouldn't forget so much.. :) We will have future problems on CCC, that's just human nature. But I want to also say that email is a wonderful invention, and when a problem comes up, we should consider using it to attempt to resolve disputes. If the attempt fails, well then... We computer chess people are a contentious lot, but if one has a sincere desire to get along, it can be done. Through dialogue, patience, and putting our egos on a diet. Let's all make the effort.
