Personally I do not think that not compatible notation is a good reason not to participate in WCCC but different people may have different opinions. Note that I agree with Reinhard that it is better to use compatible notation to normal chess and not Shredder's notation. Stefan could do better by at least using the normal chess notation in cases that the king and the rooks are in the original squares so people can use programs that do not support FRC to read games when the rooks and the king has the luck to be in the original squares.
