Ok, they may choose to do this.  But some players blindly castle at the first
opportunity; some players automatically move their rooks to open files; they
recapture without hesitation; etc; etc.  All of this just represents an approach
to the game.  And if people choose to play like this, then so be it.

But because some people choose to play opening moves without due consideration,
I don't see how this prevents others from playing the opening with more
understanding, thought and imagination.  Chess offers the scope; it's up to us
whether we use it or not.
