Generally speaking it is fairly difficult to determine the exact number of computers that were manufactured and sold of any particular model some APPROXIMATE figures are known for a limited number of computers: for example the Chess Challenger 7 sold the most number of units at between 600,000-700,000 the Tasc R40 sold less then 10(although about 25 were made) the Chess Challenger(CC1) -1000 made and sold even when this information is known it was not generally known by the buying public and only those in the business of selling chess computers or collectors gath there is ONE computer however where the EXACT number manufactured and sold is known by the general chess computer buying public and was WIDELY avertised at the time of release please indicated the EXACT name of this computer including the name of the company that released it and the number of units made and sold the winner as usual will be the FIRST to post the correct answer and will receive free of all shipping costs the Fidelity Excellence(model 6080 and EP12)rated 1800 Elo and programmed by the Spracklen husband and wife team it will include the original box, a copy of the instruction manual but there are no pieces the Excellence is pressure sensory so any piece set will work fine with it the computer works perfectly with a normal 9 Volt adaptor and can also be used with batteries however the battery door on the underside of the computer is cracked and the batteries tend to fall out so an adaptor is the best way to use the computer the adaptor is NOT included the computer is in very good cosmetic condition i will ship Worldwide the question will remain open until Sunday midnight(12pm EST) August 14 2005 the Fidelity Excellence: http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/cpaa2@sbcglobal.net/detail?.dir=dda9&.dnm=8351.jpg&.src=ph Good Luck Regards Steve
