Derek Have a read of this that I saw a week or so ago. .................................................. Unfortunately, Mark Uniacke, the Hiarcs programmer cannot come to Mainz to play the Chess960 world championship. Mark Uniacke: Since March this year I have had significant hold ups in the development of Hiarcs, - a month+ in New Zealand to visit my wife's ill parents, followed by a car accident shortly after our return to the UK where my wife was hurt. These delays have put back my development of Hiarcs 10 which is involving a substantial rewrite of a number of algorithms. At this stage I don't think Hiarcs will be finished and competitive enough to make it worth me entering.
