My impression is exactly the opposite: Hiarcs has improved more than any of the other commercial programs in the last couple of years. According to the CEGT list, for instance, Hiarcs 9.0 is about 80 rating points stronger than my engine. In my tests against Hiarcs 9.6, however, the rating difference seems to be at least 150 points. An improvement of 70 rating points from the level of Hiarcs 9.0 really isn't bad. Tord
