I most certainly disagree with your statement. I, for one, use only DOS 6.22 at home on my Intel Pentium 200-S with 96Mb (which is 32 more than DOS can utilize). I have to struggle with WINDOZE NT at work everyday. The only thing the WINDOZE operating systems do is hog all your resources to generate those pretty little icons. We have high transmission (T) lines at work, and I have to use Netscape there, but at home I'm using a graphical DOS-based program called Arachne. My Internet speeds at home across normal phone lines are much faster than what I can achieve using WINDOZE at work. And I have DOS programs that do everything I want, so why should I corrupt and bog down my home system with WINDOZE? And the DOS chess programs are terrific. I have MCP8 and really enjoy it, but I'm sure I would be happy with either Rebel 10 or Hiarcs7. Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought that a majority of countries foreign to the US still depend on DOS as their primary operating system. And what about Linux? The reason it's getting so popular is because of all the disgruntled WINDOZE users.
