As I said, if all scores are +=good for white, then the only problem you have is
at BTM positions.

For example, suppose the root material is 1.0, and the material at the current
ply is 3.0...  white has won two pawns going down this path.  If the current ply
is a wtm ply, this is a good thing.  If the current side is a btm ply, then
black should be very unhappy because he has dropped two pawns in the current
tree...
