 But if you're completely new to programming, then probably it would be better
to
learn C or C++. You can get much more support for them, because most chess
programs are written in those languages. I think there are many code snippets
in C++. Delphi is not "easy" if you want mastering it, but it's easier than C++.
You can also find VB, Java and even JavaScript chess programs.
