That's because the moderator cut it.  You don't get to read a cancelled post.
That is both the beauty and the terrible cost of moderation.  If you just happen
to see one before it gets pulled, then you are in on the whole thing.  If you
miss it, then you missed out (I also missed the post but am not nearly so
curious as you are).

But the major thrust of the argument stems (as I surmise) not from the pulling
of a post but from a private email.

The differences have been patched and once again we can start talking about
chess programs.
