for the collector ,obtaining all of the Dedicated Chess computers that won the World Micro Computer Chess Championships is a laudable goal indeed no collection could be considered World Class without this goal being acheived perhaps the hardest year to acquire is 1984 which was held in Glasgow Scotland that year ,first place was a four way tie between 3 dedicated computers and a PC program Fidelity,Conchess and Mephisto were the dedicated computer winners with an early version of Langs Cyrus chess as the PC program Langs program then went on to be incorporated into several dedicated units after its co-win of the four co-winners the hardest computer to find is the Mephisto. called the Glasgow "S" module, it of course can be used in all of their standard boards(Modular,Exclusive and Munchen) rated 1800 Elo and programmed by Nitsche it ran on a 68000 16 bit processor at 12 Mhz the Rare Mephisto Glasgow "S": http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/cpaa2@sbcglobal.net/detail?.dir=5b5f&.dnm=b289.jpg&.src=ph Regards From Scotland Steve
