I am currently winding up four 5 minute blitz tournaments with eight engines in round robins of 36 rounds each. Each engine plays a total of 256 games in each tournament. All tournaments have Toga II 1.0 Beta 2 participating. However, only one Fruit with different pruning options is in each one. They are Fruit 2.1, Fruit 2.1 F, Fruit 2.1 D, and Fruit 2.1 DF. D=Delta pruning and F=Futility pruning. So far Fruit 2.1, Fruit 2.1 F and Toga II are within 7 ELO of each other with Toga being the best. Fruit 2.1 DF is 18 ELO above Toga. Currently, the Fruit 2.1 tournament has Fruit slightly ahead with about half the games played. Dave
