I posted MacChess 5.0.1 to several Internet archives yesterday.

(Power Mac required - 68K users use MacChess 2.5.1 from
 http://www.gambitsoft.com/mac.htm)

Here's the one archive that seems to have it available now:

http://cdrom.amug.org/~kooper/MacRecent.html

(The MacChess 5.0 -> 5.01 updater is on AOL, in the MGM section).

Version 5.01 adds two things:

- fixes overoptimistic mate announcements
(due to transposition table problem found due to a posted position
on r.g.c.c. or CCC in December. This position exposed a problem
in Crafty, Sigma Chess (fixed in 4.02) and MacChess (fixed in 5.01)

- Gives user the choice of setting separate, or the same time controls
for Black and White when using "tournament time controls".
