Hi Tord and Dom, all results in CEGT with less than 500 games you have to look at with a lot of suspicion like I always told. Maybe we should configure the list that way that engines with less than this amount of games are not shown. On the other hand it is always fun to speculate. Michael Koppel run already a match Glaurung Mainz vs. Chess Tiger (6,5:13,5) So rating would already drop a bit now. More we can certainly tell after having finished the New Version tournaments 2 and 3. I suspect that the new Spike 1.0 will then end up as second best amateur. But, who knows? A lot happening these days with engines improving like hell. Best Regards Heinz
