Hi Derek
No, I don't find FRC more exciting - the contrary is the case.
To replay FRC-games is an asthetical horror like a Beethoven
sonata with some terrible folsky enclosure. BTW: on my
level (1950 Elo) and up to about 2100 Elo it does not matter
if I am out of book after 6-10 moves because the opponent
won't be able to punish this.
