I already took the blame for it. It was a bad move to have in our book - shit happens. There should not be many lines like that I hope. The Scotch four knight game didn't get much attention in preparation. But I think there are some other issues to think about when it is about this game. One example would be time management. Crafty played all the critical moves soo fast. And maybe 12. ..h6 is another interesting one (with Rg8 looking like a sensible alternative to me). Crafty *never* considered to *not* castle short in the mainlines - just something to think about for future versions, nothing more, nothing less. >The Sjeng opening was not as good, but Crafty managed to >equalize and then simply misplay the resulting ending badly due to a problem _I_ >had introduced way back in the 19.x series. You think the opening against Sjeng was bad? I don't think I agree :) - but let's stick to the topic. >6 rounds played, 4 blacks. After the tournament it will have had black in *all* important games. So it will be black against Jonny and Zappa too . And white against Futé, The Baron and Isichess. Peter
