I have Pocket Fritz 2 and Pocket Genius (latest edition). I think Pocket Fritz
is stronger but they are both quite weak. I have no problem beating either of
them quite often at 5 secs. They are especially weak in the endgame where I
think they play at a level of about 1800 and are very susceptible to smother
attacks. Also the opening book is limited so its easy to setup certain openings
that it will always play bad in. Still in tactical positions they can be
frustrating to play against ... but then I guess so are all comps. I have heard
that Hiarcs is really strong but it is on the Palm platform. I think the
breakthrough for Pocket PC's will come when editable opening books come and EGTB
are added. Also the new Pocket PC cpu's are supposed to reach 700Mhz. So they
will be impossible to beat for most of us very soon.
