I think that it is wrong and if you copied a single line of Crafty you will have
no problem.

It is illegal to copy significant part of Crafty and call it your program but
the problem is not with a single line that can even be the same without copying
it because different people may write the same line of code independently.

Note also that copying is not illegal and the question is what you do after it.

For example if you copy most of Crafty and make your code public and call the
exe file Crafty19.19modifieda.exe then I think that it is clearly legal.
