Fritzmark is not a very good benchmark, and I never tried it. The nps for Deep Fritz 8 and Deep Shreddder 9 are: On the 4400+ Deep Fritz 8 > 3000 kn/s Deep Shredder 9 > 1050 kn/s On the dual Opteron 270 Deep Fritz 8 > 5000 kn/sec. Deep Shredder 9 > 1700 kn/sec. This all depends on the stage of the game, near the endgame I often see much higher numbers.
