Hi Guenther, Yes I did have the setting in the config file, but I think for uci engines, Arena applies its "global" tablebase path to all uci engines that have tablebase option. In any event, the path is the same in both Arena and Spike config file. I notice that the moves are very rapid, indicating that the tb's are being accessed. Regards, John
