Zappa is very strong running single threaded. I am guessing Mr. Cozzie has done a very good job with his SMP algorithm. A strong SMP algorithm will pay a penalty on blitz for sure. And most people do test at faster time controls. For some reason (also) Zappa seems to get left out a lot from home-brew contests. I think for crafty (now that if forks instead of using threads) the penalty will be even higher for blitz games. It certainly seems a spectacular result for Zappa so far. And the one draw is clearly the most stunning result of the tournament (currently) because of all the other wins.
