I read everything you publish in this forum with interest even though I have never commented on it. I think the testing of yours is one of the most trusthworthy if not the most trustworthy in the computer community. If we talk about this test then I find it not very exciting. Everybody knows that Shredder is the strongest of those participating but the order of those from 2 to 5 is of more curiosity. For me it is interesting to see that Chess Tiger is above Fritz and I guess that it is Fritz Bilbao. The Fruit test that you performed was very exciting and still is as Fruit is now the *hottest* engine around.( or is it Zappa now?) Short blitz tourneys don´t need to be "dumb" if you use reasonable time setting, say time with increment; 4+2 or 5+5 or what ever with +. Best regards, Ómar.
