I wouldn't say that Shredder is dead. It is just having a bad tournament.

Anything can happen in a one game situation. The level of play in this year's
tournament is quite high. If you import the pgn into a new Chessbase book the
performance ratio is incredible. 2650+...

Using elostat and starting with a base rating of 2500...

Shredder is _still_ performing about the start elo values.

Call it unlucky.. call it a bad tournament.. just dont count it out yet.
Shredder will still rip 99% of the programs apart in a 50 game match.
