I don't mind spending money on chess engines, not at all infact as i have spent too much in proportion to what is rational :) However i think that it might be a mistake to try and profit from a program like Zappa, as the time and energy it takes in setting up sales, costumer service, webpage, extra gimmicks etc etc. in proportion to what you stand to earn potentially is not worth it guess as the return, if any, would be really small plus that time and energy could be spent making the engine even better. So unless Chessbase is waving a big check, i suspect it would be too much work for too little money. (i would buy it myself, but what would "the average joe" pick, chessmaster or ...Zappa). Jonas
