I've played a few overnight tournaments lately, involving Fruit 2.1, Toga II
and the other best freeware engines (ProDeo, Aristarch, List, ...) with various
time controls.
Fruit 2.1 was the winner in almost every tournament. Toga II was usually the
second. So I think that Toga II is not stronger than Fruit 2.1.
As for Zappa, I'm not sure it's better than Fruit. The WCCC 2005 results are
a bit deceptive, because of the hardware differences.
