Note that it is not easy to copy fruit's evaluation to a different data structure without copying code and I think that this type of work unlike modifying fruit proves that the programmer understands what he is doing and what he is evaluating. The work of generating your own code is not easy and it may take a lot of time to do it and programmers do not need to work a lot of time and generate their own code only to read that their engine is a clone. Note that I am not surprised that there is no fruit personality in normal chess programs because the job of generating fruit's evaluation based on different structure is not easy. Uri
