Is it a joke ?

After several thousand games at slow play rate, Fruit 2.1 is on the par with
Fritz 8 slightly behind shredder in independent testings: see
http://www.husvankempen.de/nunn/rangliste.html

In our private tests FruitX is slightly better.

Fruit only plays on monoprocesor PC's and was second at WCCC on a PC that you
could buy at your local reseller.

At wccc he outplayed shredder which played on a multiprocessor box in what I
consider to be one of the best positional games played by any engine.

If you are so comfident than nothing can beat shredder and fritz, please be
cautious. I wouldn't bet to large a sum in a match against Fruit.

We still do not know the strength of zappa 2.0 on a monoprocessor PC but it
should also be able to give chessbase fans quite a few nightmares.
