Dear Brian, Thank you for your email. We are in fact thinking about producing a wooden chess computer, but we do not want to advertise it yet as the timeline has not been decided on. We are sad to hear that you believe that we are merely re-badging our products. All our “Star” models are completely newly developed models and cannot be compared to the old models with the exception of the name (e.g. Sapphire) and the Star Diamond housing. We decided to keep latter in order to establish a strong link to the old model, which is a classic in the Novag chess computer line. Yours truly, Perfect Technology Ltd
