hi engin, i play at fics under the handle siliconc. i dont use any formula so people can play whatever they want unrated or not. i also think a lot of players dont realize that if their rating is a lot lower than the computer account, (lets say 4 to 500 points lower for the sake of argument) they may only lose 1 point. that is not a bad deal to be able to play some of the best commercial,and freeware engines on some of the best hardware out there. i also think there are a lot of comp. v comp. games, which is why many engines have thousands of games. comp. accounts typically have exotic formula's to keep lower rated players and comp.'s from playing them. i think this frustrates human players. they then assume all comp accounts are like that. thats my two cents worth. regards mike
